it is narcosis .. literally one of the fastest bands on the planet .. 18 songs, 21 minutes .. no messing about .. over the last couple of years though the band have upped the speed another ridiculous amount and this is the end product .. an album that literally blows all of the competition out of existence .. songs smash past your eyes before you get chance to focus, vocals rip you to bits and guitar interchanges send you dizzy as they start new section before you even realize they have stopped the previous one .. if you do not know of the narcosis machine then comparisons can be drawn to cryptopsy, discordance axis and so on .. narcosis look set to finally join the english grindcore elite alongside such legends as napalm death and carcass with the release of their sophomore album "romance" .. to say this lp is brutal, uncompromising and downright nasty would be an understatement .. "romance" is an astonishing piece of work .. this is the aural equivalent of being battered repeatedly around the head with a blunt instrument very very quickly .. a frenzied, no holds barred delivery coupled with nice, bleak, misanthropic lyrics .. sheer brilliance

this legendary german hardcore, grind, powerviolence outfit existed from 1992 to 1996 and at that time they were one of those famous european counterbalance to the so called powerviolence scene in the states where bands as crossed out, no comment, lack of interest did shape this type of music .. this discography contains songs from the "close your eyes and see death", "whispers", "die human race", "plot", "up for grabs" compilations, the rare demo, the 7" and the split lp with golgatha .. all in all 50 songs .. all lp's come with an extensive booklet and the original poster from the golgatha split .. only 500 copies were made .. so hurry up to get your hands on this masterpiece .. essential stuff

finally .. the roskopp 7inch is out .. hailing from melbourne, australia roskopp play extremely fast grindcore with an gore styled approach to their music .. they deliver us 6 tracks here including a phobia cover .. that recording was gonna be a demo but roskopp were slack in getting it out and in the meantime i offered them to do it on 7inch .. no tech no frills .. just pure grindcore madness .. without any doubts one of the best grind bands i have heard for a long time .. be prepared .. they will have splits with blue holocaust and agents of abhorrence out by the end of the year and a full length is planned too .. all copies come on dark blue vinyl with green splatters
